OZ Music Month.. I just remembered that this month is NOT just Movember (Link below to my donation page) but as well as the BEST month ever! Yes Men’s Month is here.. hence Movember,
OZ Music Month.. was invented by Triple J.. BUT it has been celebrated by musicians, radio presenters, and remixers everywhere (yes even CYRIL… you are the cool one) and the woman that started this in the 70s is ONJ.
in 1973, the same album as If We Try, there was a song called “Amoureuse” which was covered by a LOT of artists (Kiki Dee did the original English Version). So the Drum Beat had to match the Song.. and here it is!
I will be adding a BONUS track on Day 6 with the original French version of the song.

Well what can I say about this track? First of all.. Billy Joel, IS the Piano Man, with a Rock attitude with his “The Bridge” album. A track on this album, called “Mpdern Woman”, which was in the movie “Ruthless People”.
But the reason I mixed this song, and the mix namecomes from an Australian show called “The Chase Australia” (based on the UK quiz show.. NOT a UK Vet drama or a comedy team called “The Chaser”)
There is a chaser called “The Smiling Asassin”or Mara, and she is a RUTHLESS quizzer on the show.. You need a plan of attack to beat this person. But barely she gets beaten.. But Mara is the Legally Blonde chaser. PS The movie Ruthless People had The Rose herself.. and Bette was amazing!

D.O.D. aka Daniel O’Donnell made a song called “More Cowbell”, which features Christopher Walken, and he said the phrase which the song was based on the SNL skit. So I used the Cowbell and Drums from this song as a Beat.

Day 2 – Mo Shaking!
This is my second mix from ONJ BUT this mix can be blamed on a song that the video, is always played AD-NAUSEUM by Linus Sebastian that canadian bastard that gives the coolest Irish producer royalties… that and the music video is AWESOME!! just crabs dancing!
So before I start the background of the story behind this mix.. the question is.. Why the crab claws instead of the main beat? BECAUSE IT IS CALLED CRAB RAVE! geez!
But the song was from her 3rd album “Music Makes My Day” (or in the USA “Let Me Be There”) which was the last track. Written by the “American Pie” writer and performer, Don Maclean, and the people behind the album put this track last.. I thought it was a hit?
Anyway, I layered some of my instrument tracks with the Crabs and the ONJ song.. and this happened… Enjoy!

NEVER EVER play a earworm, when I can remix the song! Should I release it?
First Song on Blog – The Promise 2025 (Eternal Mix) – maybe first release?
This song was running through my head years ago, for many reasons. One of course to make this song Eternal, as in long living within the EDM, and music worlds for 2025, and onwards. As this means a few things.
- To remember the legendary, and amazing Australian Artist, Olivia Newton-John, and a song about promises, and Dolphins. Hey, Dolphins are very smart, emotionally just like humans (apparently), and they have a great sound. Which i left in the mix.
- For the people, and their families, that survived, going through, or died from Breast Cancer. and
- To attempt to raise money for Breast Cancer research, through the record label that this song may release this track. Which will go to the centre in Melbourne, which is named after her name.
So what am i going to do with this track?
I am actually getting permission from the original label and UMG, plus Olivia’s Family and estate, to release this track asap. And made an INSTRUMENTAL track for their ideas on who can sing the track for a 2026 release. Maybe the first track of 2026 top be played on Radio, or a fireworks display.
I will NOT be making any money from this track.. as there is a reason I am doing this. My mother suffered and survived Breast Cancer. She was diagnosed in 2013, and she had quick treatment. So yes I do have a personal story to this, and I am doing this from my heart, and I absolutely adored her singing voice.. I even wanted to mix Xanadu.. But i mixed Long Live Love years ago.. I think I still Got that mix.. I might put it down below..
